| i am wondering if anyone else has had the experience of dreams that are potential memories? I have had very awful & graphic dreams of my father & even though I do not trust him regardless, I can't seem to remember abuse from him like I do from my uncle. So, I tend to doubt the memories of my fathe & am certain I would be challenged that they are just left overs from my uncles' abuse.... anyone , anything. there is more but for my first go this is enuf.

Yes, I've certainly had dreams that I later recognized as a memory of something he did to me. At the same time, not every dream is a memory. As frustrating as it is, I think what you have to do is have patience with yourself. In time, you will figure it out. In the mean time, be kind to yourself.
I, too, wondered about other perpetrators besides my grandfather. Over time, I've come to understand that, for me, there were no other adults who were supposed to protect me who abused me instead.
Either way, it's a sad story, and I'm sorry you have to go through it. At the same time, please know that you're not alone ... others have been where you are. With work you can find hope and healing.
I will keep you in my prayers.
