For those of you struggling with the "where is God when things this unimaginable happens" or struggling to find your way back to God through the pain, this is an amazing book. I was advised to read it by Sonia Choquette when I took her workshop at the Omega Institute after telling her I still couldn't understand how things like incest happen in this world. I've read it once through so far, and I have to say, I'll probably have to read it another 3 or 4 times to fully get all its messages. However, it has profoundly changed my perspective of God, or maybe I should say deeply enhanced and added to my changing ideas of God recently. It's definitely worth reading. It's so profound there's even a discussion web site dedicated strictly to the book and the impact its had on people's lives: theshackbook.com Love and light, Anne |

Anne, Someone else recommended this book to me, and I got a copy. I just haven't found the time to read it; you've inspired me to make the time. Thank you, Susan |
